Pull the Top Snake First, Not Your Favorite

Real knots untie in reverse — the last strand laid down comes off first, and Snake Sorting works the same way. Find which snake lies on top of the tangle and free it first. Yanking a buried snake drags the whole pile with it.

Drag Long and Straight — Half Pulls Make It Worse

When you grab a head, do not drop it two inches away. In Snake Sorting, drag the snake far out in a straight line until it is completely clear of the pile, then let go. Short, timid pulls leave snakes half-buried, and your very next pull tangles them right back up. Commit to every pull.

How do you play it?

What should I do if the snakes get more tangled?

Stop pulling buried snakes. Find the topmost snake in the knot and work backwards through the tangle. If a level truly locks up, restart it — the early levels are there to teach you the pull order.
