This Is Not a Normal Racing Game
You do not win deadly descent with top speed — you win it with control. The road falls away in steep drops, hairpin bends, and cliff-edge stretches where one overconfident turn ends your run. Gravity keeps pulling you faster, and every corner asks you to shed exactly enough speed. That tension is the whole thrill.
The One Rule of Downhill
Start at the top. Reach the bottom. Do not wreck. Your rig gains speed on its own, so your real job is choosing where to let it run and where to rein it in. Flip your truck or slide off the edge and the run is over.

5 Braking Tricks That Save Your Run
1. Brake early, not hard. Slamming the brakes mid-corner throws the rig around — start slowing before the turn, not inside it.
2. Let gravity work on climbs. Uphill stretches slow you for free, so save your brakes for what comes right after.
3. Use the whole road. On blind corners, swing wide early to straighten your exit line.
4. Feather the brake. Short taps keep the truck settled; long holds kill your momentum.
5. Respect the edge. In deadly descent, the racing line that kisses the cliff is fast — until it is fatal. Give the edge a meter.
