Graveyards, swinging guillotines, and a ticking clock — Moto X3M Spooky Land is the Halloween chapter of the stunt-bike series, and it does not care about your weekend plans. Across 22 haunted levels you will launch over bone-piled ramps, thread swinging axe blades, and fight the timer for three-star runs. It is the same tight, physics-driven racing fans love, dressed in pumpkins, ghosts, and green acid.

What the Haunt Actually Is

Released for Halloween 2019 by MadPuffers, Moto X3M Spooky Land is the sixth installment of the Moto X3M series. The theme is 100% Halloween: moonlit backdrops, skeletal spikes, explosive pumpkins, poisonous green goop, and traps built from bones and rusty iron. If Pool Party is the sunny vacation entry of the series, this is its midnight opposite — same precision gameplay, far darker stage.

The game looks scary, but it is not a horror game. There are no jump scares chasing you. The fear comes from the traps themselves: a mistimed landing on a collapsing bridge or a half-second late through a timed gate, and you are scraped off the track.

Controls That Decide Your Run

Desktop

Up Arrow or W accelerates, Down Arrow or S brakes (and reverses), Left Arrow or A leans backward, Right Arrow or D leans forward. Space or R restarts the level instantly, Esc opens the pause menu. Mid-air lean is everything — it decides whether you stick a landing or cartwheel into a spike pit.

Mobile and Chromebook

Touch controls mirror the desktop layout: on-screen accelerate and brake buttons plus lean buttons for rotation. The game runs in the browser with no downloads, so it loads fine on school Chromebooks and tablets alike.

How the Star Clock Actually Works

Every level is a time attack. Finish faster and you earn more stars — up to three per level. Crashing does not end your run; you respawn at the last checkpoint. But each crash burns precious seconds off the clock, so a scrappy finish and a clean three-star run are worlds apart.

Here is the part new players miss: flips are not just style. A clean backflip shaves half a second off your final time. Chaining flips on long jumps is exactly what separates a three-star run of Moto X3M Spooky Land from a wipeout that limps across the line.

The Garage: Bikes Worth Unlocking

Stars are currency. Spend them to swap your default rider for a green witch on a candy-apple red moped, or a pumpkin-headed rider on a motorcycle built from bones. The bikes are cosmetic — they will not make you faster — but rolling into a haunted castle on a skeleton bike just feels right, and chasing stars gives every level a reason to replay.

Five Tricks to Survive the Night

Scout before you send it. Do one calm recon run on each new level. Learn where platforms crumble, which gates are timed, and where the axes swing before you chase speed.

Feather the throttle. Holding full gas through a technical section is the most common cause of crashes. Small taps keep the bike stable on narrow planks and fragile bridges.

Match your lean to the landing. Lean back slightly on takeoff, then level the bike before touchdown. Land wheels-first and parallel to the slope — landing flat or on the nose kills your momentum and often your rider.

Flip with a plan. Only flip where the landing is clear and downslope. A flip that lands badly costs more time than it saves.

Restart fast, not angry. One big crash ends a three-star attempt. Hit Space and start clean — a fresh run beats a scuffed one every time.

Moto X3M Spooky Land FAQs

Is this game free to play?

Yes. It is a free browser game with no download or signup. It runs in HTML5, so it works on desktop, Chromebook, and mobile browsers.

How many levels are there?

22 Halloween-themed levels, each with its own trap layout and time targets. You can replay any finished level to beat your best time and earn missing stars.

Who made Moto X3M Spooky Land?

MadPuffers, the studio behind the whole Moto X3M series. This Halloween edition launched in October 2019 as the sixth game in the series.

How is Moto X3M Spooky Land different from Pool Party?

Both are Moto X3M entries with identical core physics, but Spooky Land trades Pool Party’s water slides and beach traps for graveyards, guillotines, and bone obstacles. Pick Spooky Land for atmosphere; the difficulty is comparable.

Do crashes reset the whole level?

No. You respawn at the last checkpoint with no penalty other than lost time. That is what makes chasing three stars so addictive — the only thing a crash costs you is the clock.

Can I play it on a school Chromebook?

Yes. The HTML5 build is lightweight and typically runs fine on restricted networks and Chromebooks without any installation.
